General Information
Aerial Work Platform: Scissor Lift
(AWP): Scissor Lift courses.
The course is designed to train the operator on the proper use of AWP:
Scissor Lift. The course offers an awareness of the controls, as well as
the safe and proper use of an AWP: Scissor Lift. The course features
classroom and hands-on training to qualify the operator on particular
AWP: Scissor Lift.
In addition, video and other visual presentation materials will be used during the course of instruction. After passing the examination a wallet card will be given to each trainee for his or her records. This course does not qualify anyone to teach operator safety classes. The course is designed for operators and meets the requirements set forth in ANSI/SIA A92.6-2006.
Upon successful completion of this course, the trainee will be certified to operate an Aerial Work Platform: Scissor Lift for three (3) years. AWP courses are four (4) hour courses. All AWP courses offered meet the requirements for recertification.
Aerial Work Platform: Boom Lift
(AWP): Boom Lift courses. The course is designed to train the operator on the proper use of Aerial Work Platform: Boom Lift. The course offers an awareness of the controls, as well as the safe and proper use of an Aerial Work Platform: Boom Lift.
The course features classroom and hands-on training to qualify the operator on particular Aerial Work Platform: Boom Lift. In addition, video and other visual presentation materials will be used during the course of instruction. After passing the examination a wallet card will be given to each trainee for his or her records. The course does not qualify a student to teach operator safety classes.
